Dungeons & Dragons: Season 1 (1983)

Based on the board game of same title. Hank, Presto, Eric, Diana, Sheila and her younger brother Bobby all go to an amusement park one night. While there, they go on a ride called 'Dungeons and Dragons.' But while on that ride, they get sucked into the world of Dungeons and Dragons. There they are attacked by various monsters and entities. When all seems lost, they're greeted by a short, mysterious man known as Dungeon Master. He gives each one of them a magical item that they can use to fight monsters and defend them selves. Hank (the Ranger) is given a bow that creates arrows of energy. Presto (the Magician) is given a hat of magic spells. Eric (the Cavalier) is given a shield that can deflect any attack against it. Diana (the Acrobat) is given an extendable javelin that allows her to do feats of acrobatics. Sheila (the Thief) is given a cloak that when the hood is pulled up, makes her invisible. And Bobby (the Barbarian) is given a club that can crush anything

	The pupils seek out and find Merlin, and he'll teach the pupil Presto magic, if he stays with Merlin. Presto decides to stay and attempts a spell to create a way home, but the spell summons dragons instead which attack a nearby village.

	The group encounters Sir John a seemingly fearless knight. But he's really a coward, his village is ready to exile him, unless he performs one brave deed. Venger captures, Sir John's son, and tells him to lead the group into a trap.

	Their mystic weapons start to fail them. Dungeon Master tells his pupils they need to be recharged in the Hall of Bones. But first they must find a guide to the Hall.

	The group encounters a unicorn being attacked. They manage to help the Unicorn, but Uni is captured by a wizard who is capturing Unicorns and stealing their magical horns. They must stop the wizard before he become even more powerful than Venger.

	Dungeon Master is captured by an evil lord working for Venger. The kids must find Dungeon Master and free him before it's too late.

	The kids learn of a magic river that can get them home. On their way to the river, however, Eric accidentally turns himself into an ugly bogbeast. The team must reverse the spell on Eric before the river's magic runs out.

	Venger enslaved a gnome village with a powerful spell. Only a gnome wizard Lukian can break the spell, but Venger had trapped Lukian in a most unusual prison.

	Hank, Sheila, Presto, Eric, and Diana are captured by Venger and thrown into a volcanic prison. It's up to Bobby to save them, with some help from one of Venger's unwilling servants.

	A cursed knight named Dekion tricks the kids into retrieving a Circle of Power for Venger. The Circle can be used for good or evil, and it's up to Dekion to make that choice.

	Bobby is bitten by a poisonous creature, and an antidote can only be found at the garden of queen Zinn. Will his friends be able to find it in time and convince the queen to give them the cure?

	The kids accidentally find Zandora's Box, which can open doorways to many other places. This may be their best chance of getting home, but only Zandora herself knows how to use the box, and she is trapped somewhere inside it.

	The team encounters a band of children from another planet, whose spaceship might bring them all home. The only problem is that the ship is in Venger's hands.

	Presto accidentally transports his friends to a faraway place where they face an enormous danger (literally). Now he must climb to the new heights of courage and master his magic to save the others.
